Into the fire.
Forge is a paid, 12-week content marketing internship where you do real agency work. Real clients, real briefs, real deadlines. You'll leave with a portfolio you actually built.

Busy work. Zero.
You're not here to observe.
"By the end, you'll have done more than most graduates see in their first year."
Forge is built on one belief: the best way to learn agency work is to do agency work. Not a simulation of it, not a training exercise. The real thing.
That means you’ll be in the room when strategy gets made. You’ll write content that actually runs. You’ll see how smart people solve hard problems for real clients, and you’ll contribute to that work from day one.
It goes fast. You’ll be challenged. And by the end, you’ll know exactly what you’re capable of, with the portfolio to prove it.
Built for people who want to build things.
Real work from day one
You're assigned to live client projects immediately. You contribute to briefs, write real drafts, and attend real meetings. We don't have a separate "intern track" — you're working alongside the team.
Structure, not hand-holding
Every week has a rhythm — a Monday kickoff, midweek project work, and a Friday feedback session. You always know what's expected. You're never left wondering what to do next.
Mentorship that shows up
You have a primary mentor who meets with you one-on-one every week — not just when something goes wrong. They review your work, answer your questions, and invest in where you're headed.
A curriculum, not just chaos
Each week includes a focused 30–45 minute learning session with a senior team member — covering strategy, content, analytics, AI tools, and more. You leave knowing how agencies actually think.
A portfolio you earned
Your major project is a full campaign built for a real client — strategy through execution, in your discipline. You present it at the end of the internship. It's yours to keep, and it shows real work.
Honest, two-way feedback
Every Friday, we give you candid feedback on the week. And we ask for yours in return. We want to know what's working and what isn't — for both of us. That's how good work gets better.
What your week looks like.
Every week follows the same structure. You always know where you stand and what comes next.

01
A campaign you built from scratch
Your major project is a complete campaign for a real client — from audience strategy through execution. Every piece is portfolio-ready and genuinely yours.
02
Supporting work across clients
Beyond the major project, you’ll contribute to multiple client accounts — writing, concepting, researching, and creating work that actually ships.
03
A clear understanding of agency life
How briefs become campaigns. How clients give feedback. How teams make decisions under pressure and tight timelines. You’ll know what this world looks like because you lived in it.
04
A final presentation on your terms
At the end of the program, you present your campaign project to the team: the strategy, the creative thinking, the execution, and what you’d do differently. It’s a real presentation, not a formality. And it’s yours to take into every interview after this one.
What this is and what it isn't.
Agency life is fast and sometimes messy. We want you to experience that — not be protected from it. But there’s a difference between the productive chaos that makes you grow and the kind that just burns you out. We know the difference, and we take it seriously.
This is
Real client work with real deadlines
This is
Honest feedback, even when it's hard to hear
This is
A fast-moving environment where you'll be challenged
This is
A team that invests in your growth, not just your output
This isn't
A summer of formatting decks and sitting in silence
This isn't
Work that disappears into a folder when you leave
This isn't
A place where interns are afraid to ask questions
Ready to build something.
We're looking for one content marketing intern. College juniors, seniors, and recent graduates studying marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field who are ready to do real agency work.
The people who get the most out of Forge are curious, direct, and hungry to grow. They take feedback well, bring their own ideas, and care about doing good work. If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
We are actively accepting applications for our Summer 2026 program that starts June 1.
