Davezilla

In the late 1990s, blogging was relatively new and no one considered the option of filing a lawsuit over some silly content website, but Dave’s humor blog, Davezilla, changed that norm. Lawyers from the corporation that owns Godzilla sent a cease and desist letter, explaining that Dave’s ‘zilla suffix was too closely related to the trademark. Dave fought back, won the battle and later became a verb in Urban Dictionary.

With an extensive career in social media, branding and messaging, as well as digital strategy and marketing, Dave brings over two decades of experience to our digital team. His ability to translate raw data and metrics into visually appealing, easy-to-understand stories helps us create effective strategies for our clients. Dave also offers his knowledge and expertise to our clients through training and consulting sessions.

When he isn’t busy branding companies or making websites easier to use, Dave enjoys sitting by a fire with his wife, hanging out north at the family cottage. Dave and his wife, Lizz, have two children: Phaedra and Freyja, and three furry kids: dogs Nora and Lillie and Ninja the cat.
