Early this summer, we discussed enjoying summer as a company, and you know we’ve taken advantage of it. From the summer grilling to going to the zoo, the Core3 team continues to come together in and out of the office. This week, we took time out of our busy schedules, had a little fun and worked on our teambuilding.
If you’ve ever been to our office, you may think that we never get any work done. The truth is, we work hard and play hard. On Wednesday, the team put work aside and decided to get a little competitive for our first Summer Corelympics. What are the Corelympics? Like the Summer Olympics, the day was filled with events that required team members to bring their A-game and compete for gold. Okay. Maybe they aren’t like the actual Olympics, but we do our best.
The 2012 Summer Corelympics were broken down into five events:
- H20 Balloon Toss
- Bean Bag Toss
- Put-Put Alley Golf
- Chair Races
- Family Feud
Our team filled the day with laugher as the competition between one another grew. Events like this give the team the opportunity to relax from our busy schedules and enjoy each other’s company in a different atmosphere. In the end, there were three who came out on top. Katie placed first, and remains the undefeated Corelympics champion (Katie also won the 2011 Winter Corelympics). Eddie placed second and Jason rounded out in third.
Wednesday not only brought out our fun side, but showcased that each team member’s passion for what we do and brought our Core Values to life. We have a team of highly skilled individuals who go above and beyond clients’ expectations. One reason we are able to produce high-quality work is because we take the time to unwind and have a little fun as a team.
How have you enjoyed summer as a company? We’d love to hear!
