At Element5, we push the limits to create award-winning websites
This year at Element5, we have been working hard and have some exciting news to share. We are very proud to announce that we have won four awards this year — and counting!
Every member of our team who is involved in website projects puts their all into it. We are committed to doing the right thing, pushing the bounds of creativity, and having fun while doing it. Platinum DotCOMM Awards
Cinergy Entertainment
Earlier this year, we redesigned Cinergy Entertainment’s website, which launched in June. Cinergy has multiple locations, so we improved the functionality of the site by developing a conditional logic that loads specific content based on the user’s location. We also modernized the site by giving it a fresh and modern look that still followed their brand guidelines.
Updating the design and creating a better user experience won us a Platinum DotCOMM Award and increased the website sessions by 34.42%.
Goodwill Industries of Detroit
In May, we launched Goodwill Detroit’s website. The focus of this website was on user experience and accessibility. We lowered the reading level of the content to 3rd grade to allow for most Americans to be able to understand it. We also considered color blindness in our approach to the design. We received a Gold DotCOMM Award for the Goodwill Detroit website. Now a majority of Goodwill’s visitors will be able to easily navigate the site and understand the positive effect Goodwill has on our community.

Goodwill Detroit’s website has had over 10,688 sessions since its launch in May, with over 79% of these being new sessions.
AVA Digital Award
Applied Fitness Solutions
Applied Fitness Solutions is a gym that offers personal training and group fitness classes. They were looking for a modern website and a way to better understand their clients’ fitness goals.
We created a custom quiz people can take on their website before speaking to a fitness coach. This site was launched last October and received a Gold AVA Digital Award this year.

After launch, Applied Fitness Solution’s website has had 230,516 sessions, 45% new sessions, and over 42,000 goal completions.
Communicator Award
Spa Renaissance & Plastic Surgery
Spa Renaissance not only needed a more modern site, but they wanted to simplify and improve the user experience. We created custom icons for their beauty and plastic surgery services, incorporating gold elements across the site to give it an elegant feel. This site was launched last September and received a Communicator Award of Distinction this year.
Since the launch, Spa Renaissance’s site has achieved had over 30,000 sessions with 67% being new sessions.
