Part of what makes Element5 so great is the wonderful people who work here. And just like the web, our team is continuously evolving too! To keep our promise to help brands thrive in the digital world, we believe in hiring and retaining Michigan’s best and brightest to be a part of our team.

Today, we’re excited to introduce to you our three newest members!

Sara, Graphic Designer     sara

What is your educational background?

I have an Associates’ degree in Print Design and Layout from Macomb Community College and I am currently working towards my Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications from Rochester College.

What is one positive thing that has stood out about Element5 to you?

I know everyone talks about its great culture, but another thing that has stood out to me is the fact that Element5 has surrounded itself with companies in the FEC Industry. I worked at Disney and had a blast. Now, being able to do graphic design work for this industry is a lot of fun.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

I just started doing kickboxing and I’m getting into that. I also do photography on the side. I shoot a lot of engagements and babies which I enjoy. I like to work out and do yoga too.

What is your favorite dinosaur?

Oh gosh…It’s funny I was just at a dinosaur museum but, I can’t remember its name! It has that thing above its head. I’ll draw it…

On our website, we list 5 elements that describe our process here at Element5. If you were to apply them to yourselves, what element or combination of elements would you say you are?

I would say I’m 75% fire and 25% water.

Lyle, Web Developer lyle

What is your educational background?

I went to OCC (Oakland Community College) for two years and then transferred to LTU (Lawrence Tech University) to finish my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with a focus on web development and web design. I also got a minor in professional business communication.

What is one positive thing that has stood out about Element5 to you?

The biggest thing that has stood out to me is Element5’s culture. Having two internships at Quicken Loans – a company known for its great culture — I had high expectations coming in. I think Paul does a good job implementing this same type of culture and making Element5 a fun place to work.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

In my downtime, I like gaming and spending time at my church as a youth leader. I also really enjoy doing service projects; I would do mission trips even if I wasn’t a youth leader.

What is your favorite dinosaur?

It’s a Pteranodon. The reason for this is because as a kid one of my favorite shows was Land Before Time and my favorite character was Petrie.

On our website, we list 5 elements that describe our process here at Element5. If you were to apply them to yourselves, what element or combination of elements would you say you are?

Off the top of my head, I would say my top two are Earth and Fire.

Erin, Content Marketererin

What is your educational background?

I have a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations with a concentration in Middle Eastern studies from Dickinson College. It’s a long story — probably around 1,000-word blog post to be exact; but, the short version is my studies taught me how to express my thoughts and ideas through writing and ever since I have been doing this.

What is one positive thing that has stood out to you thus far about Element5?

I would say the people. Everyone here wears their passion and drive on their sleeve, so to speak. However, that’s not even the best. For, me the best part about working here is that everyone is as invested in each others’ success as they are on their own. Since day one, the entire team has been nothing but encouraging and helpful.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

Well, I tend to read a lot. But when the weather is nice, I like to spend as much time as I can outdoors either soaking up the sun or getting lost in a foreign city. I also enjoy doing Yoga and Pilates.

What is your favorite dinosaur?

When I was younger my favorite ones were the dinosaurs with the long necks, also known as Brachiosauruses. Back then I liked the fact that they were herbivores and that the cartoon versions always looked like they were smiling.

On our website, we list 5 elements that describe our process here at Element5. If you were to apply them to yourselves, what element or combination of elements would you say you are?

I think I am a mixture of fire and water. I know that doesn’t make a whole lot of sense but according to Adele, it’s possible.

At Element5, each of our team members is an integral component in making up our awesome company culture. Check out the rest of our team here!
